What Quality Really Means
When it comes to measuring quality, we believe there’s no better tool or reward than listening to what our Members and their families have to say about the care and services we provide:

On behalf of our family, we want to take a moment to thank you and the entire staff of The Friendly Home for the excellent care our mother received and the many kindnesses she was shown.

From Petr at the front desk, who despite our appearing unannounced on the Saturday of a holiday weekend, took the time to listen to our plea for a tour and arranged for one with the nursing supervisor, to Ann in Admissions, Kelly and Donna in Social Work and all of Mom’s nurses and aides, the level of care and caring was exceptional.

Your therapists, especially Dylan, took a personal interest in doing everything they could to restore function for Mom. The Dietary staff bent over backwards to coax her to eat by providing alternatives that might tempt her.

Dr. Schabel was very gentle in his conversations with our family. We toured nine nursing homes before making our choice and yours was number one from the beginning. The care we all experienced bore out the ranking.

We hope that you will extend our personal thanks to your staff. There are some I’m sure we never even got to meet, but who cared for Mom just as the day staff we saw at each visit. We wanted to take the opportunity to say “well done”.

Your motto says it all: “Because Friends Care”. Don’t ever change.
